How to Choose a Winter Jacket
Start with your weather — cold and dry, cold and wet, or windy — then choose insulation, shell and fit to match.
The short answer: match the jacket to your weather. For dry cold, prioritise insulation. For wet cold, choose waterproof or synthetic insulation. For wind, look for a wind-resistant shell. Then make sure it fits over the layers you'll actually wear.

Waterproofing and wind resistance
